Waddingtons Ratrace ~ “A madcap game of social climbing”. A striking (and quite dated!!) looking board game dating from the mid-1970’s (actually dated 1973). A game for 2-6 players / age 9yrs upwards. Each player begins the game with £200 and a business, as the player progresses, he moves up the social ladder. The first player to accumulate enough cash to retire on is the winner!! Complete, and in excellent condition (quite possibly unused as the playing board still has the original clear cellophane sitting between the fold), the contents are 6 x playing pieces / 2 x dice / membership / diploma / status symbol & credit cards / money / playing board & instructions leaflets in French & English. All parts are in very good order, with no signs of damage or excess wear. Box & inner packaging both in generally good condition, with no tears, holes or discolouration (some slight creasing & distortion to underside of tray, together with a small tear incurred during storage).
