Waddingtons Lexicon Word Card Game ~ 1940’s

Waddingtons Lexicon Word Card Game, by ‘ATOZED’ (A to Z). According to the front cover, a card game of ‘skill, excitement & interest’. This
“book” version has a copyright date of Oct 16th 1933, i would suggest that it may well date from the late 1940’s era.
Comes complete with 51 x letter cards plus one Lexicon ‘Master Card’,
and instructions booklet. All cards very clean, with no fading / creasing or staining. Box & inner sleeve also both very sound for their age, with very good gold lettering & piping; a few minor stain marks & some slight edge fraying, but that would be about all. In summary, a fine original example.
