MB Games “Gamesmaster Series” ~ Shogun ~ 1986

MB Games “Gamesmaster Series” ~ Shogun ~ 1986. Suitable for 2 to 5 players / ages 12 to adult, this is a game of high adventure set in 16th Century Feudal Japan at war. At a glance, it may have vague similarities to the ‘Risk’ game, purely by the fact that it has several hundred army pieces; although it has left me scratching my head a little bit!! I can tell you that i took me quite some time to check all of the game contents, all of which appear to be present & correct. There are 5 x different coloured armies of at least 75 pieces in each / 5 x swords / 68 x Province cards (plus 4 x spares) / 10 x castles & 5 x bases / 30 x red plastic chips / 12 x battle markers / 5 x reference screens / 5 x army cards / 6 x dice / 5 x planning trays & 5 x sword stands / game play manual & all period paperwork. Box in generally very good order, with no holes / torn corners or biro scribble (had previously been carefully looked after by a keen collector). Does have a birthday message inscription to the underside of the lid written tidily in biro, together with the original owners name to the top right hand corner of game play manual front cover.
