Invicta Games ~ Escape From Colditz Castle. A board game of “skill and judgement for all the family”, for ages 8yrs upwards. As you would expect, the object of the game is for POW’s to escape from the German prison fortress of Colditz castle. The winner of the game is the first player to have 3 x players to reach friendly territorry, as always, there are many dangers & hazards along the way!! Dating from 1972, the game is complete, & in overall very good condition for it’s age. Contents include playing board / 16 x POW’s / 4 x sets of game cards (civilian / escape / police & SS) & 4 x equipment grids. Full instructions printed to the underside of the lid. Box & inner tray also both very good, with no rips / tears or torn corners; just some slight creasing to the corners & some small pieces of old sellotape to the underside of the base.
