Hammant & Morgan Powapak Transformer Rectifier Unit. This model railway unit is in very good used condition, having been in dry storage for many years, probably dating back to the late 1970’s. I’ve not come across any of these before to be quite honest, so i can’t advertise it’s virtues / pitfalls or even know if it’s obsolete!! I have no means of testing it, but it does ‘hum’ into life when plugged into the mains (original MK plug fitted as shown). It has a maximum output of 2 amps, with output terminals to the rear of 12v DC & 16v AC. Please note that NO ancillary / power supply wires are included. Box in generally very good order, with no holes or colour fading, although lid does have a slight tear to the top edge, with some old water stain marks to the label. An ideal addition to any vintage layout.
