St Michael Formula One Racing Set ~ 1978

St Michael (Marks & Spencer) 1:36 Scale Formula One Racing Set. Issued in 1978, this gift set is in excellent / undamaged condition, with no signs of any damage or playwear. Set includes a die cast Elf-Tyrell Project 34, together with a Hesketh 308 (as driven by James Hunt at the time). Both models were, in fact part of the Corgi range, but have had the ‘Corgi’ name removed from the underside of the chassis. Box & inner packaging also in generally very good order, with no holes / tears or biro scribble (slight split to inner clear plastic moulding which houses the models).
