Spears ~ The James Bond 007 Secret Service Game. A ‘Thrilling, fast-moving James Bond adventure’ board game, suitable for 2-4 players aged 9yrs upwards. Dating from the mid-1960’s (Copyright dated 1965) game is in generally very good condition for it’s age, with no signs of any excess wear or damage. The idea of the game is for the player to try to obtain the secret formula for making a ‘sensational’ new rocket fuel; the trouble is that even though you may obtain the brief case containing the secret documents first, the opposing players, with skill, foresight & luck may waylay you and sieze the brief case. This may occur several times, the winner of the game is the player who is able to bring it back safely to his base ~ He is the real James Bond!! Contents complete & include all 72 game cards / 4 boats / 4 cars / 1 secret brief case / 4 James Bond player figures & playing board, all in very good / clean order, with just some minor age-related scratches & marks in places. Instructions printed to the underside of the lid. Box generally very clean, with no holes / torn corners or biro scribble (small surface tear to top r/h corner of lid).
