Palitoy “Talking Z Victor 4” Police Car ~ Mid 1970’s. Based on the 1960’s / 70’s Z Cars television series, a ‘talking’ Triumph 2500 Police Car; Press the blue light on the roof and you will be greeted with several phrases including ‘calling all Z cars’ / “there’s been a break in at the bank’ & ‘quick, after that car” !! (almost as good as ‘we’re the Sweeney son and we haven’t had any dinner!!), but maybe not quite.

Car made of plastic,and in generally very good condition for it’s age (box has a copyright date of 1973), no cracks / chips or colour fading to the bodywork or screens. Decals all good, with only some minor ‘nicks’ & some ‘fraying’ to the edges, bumpers & wheel hub caps all nice & shiny. Box lid & inner card sleeve generally good, although lid is a little creased & frayed around the edges. Talking mechanism is an inner cassette which is fully functional, although can be a bit temperamental at times!! (uses 2 x ‘AA’ batteries which i will include with the car). Overall, a very good example & an excellent piece of ’70’s nostalgia.
