Dinky Toys No.533 Leyland Comet Cement Wagon. Produced 1953-54. Approx length 142mm. Model finished in bright yellow, with a silver engine bay, in original excellent & undamaged condition, and has not been tampered with in any way. There are a few minor paint chips here & there, one to the top of the o/s front wheel arch, o/s rear cab corner, a couple to the rear of the body headboard & a ‘scuff’ to the underside of the diesel tank. Axles / wheels & tyres all very good ~ decals all present & correct as shown. Comes supplied in the original box which is in overall very good order, both lid & base very sound ~ base staples do have some age-related rusting, with some corresponding marks to the inside of the lid. Lid does have some small stain marks, with a tidy glue repair to a corner split to the thin striped outer veneer (thicker undercard was not torn). Model perhaps worthy of 8.5 to 9/10 ~ box perhaps 7/10 (i am probably a hard, but fair critic!!).
