Ariel Games Confrontation ~ The nuclear war game, ‘your finger on the button!!’ ~ 1974. An aggressive titled game for 2-4 players ages 10yrs upwards, Confrontation is a tactical and strategical game based on theoretical nuclear warfare. Players have possession of defence & attack missiles, and then secretly write down their strategic moves before carrying them out in a particular order. Depending on the actions of the other game players, some, or all of these moves may prove impossible. The winner of the game is the player who is controlling 8 countries, or 50% of those countries remaining after any attack period. Contents include 24 x hexagon country tiles / attack & defence missiles / 4 x sets of control markers & instructions booklet together with some relevant period ‘flyers’. Complete & all in very good, undamaged condition. Box & inner tray also both very sound with no holes / torn corners or biro scribble (lid slightly creased to corners & base slightly compressed incurred during storage).
