Airfix Flight Deck Game ~ 1973

Airfix Flight Deck Game, Code No.51329-6. “All the thrills and excitement of landing a fighter jet on an aircraft carrier” ~ Dating
from 1973, the challenge of the game is to land an RAF Phantom onto the deck of an Aircraft Carrier, via a nylon line & pulley control lever, to a distance of up to 40ft (can be operated either indoors or outside). Complete, and appears to have seen only minimal playwear, with all parts in very good, undamaged condition; including all levers / arms / pulleys / supports / flight deck / Phantom Jet & instructions leaflet (also includes the original red plastic spool with plenty of nylon line ~ housed under the inner packaging in the 2nd photo). Box also in generally
very good order for it’s age, with no colour fading or staining,
although is slightly distorted, with some superficial tears to the lid base.
