Vintage Tempest Card Game ~ Thomas De La Rue Co.Ltd ~ 1930’s. Small box card game, with cards specially designed by W.Heath Robinson. Complete and in very good condition considering it’s age. Contents include the full amount of 54 cards / metal weather vane spinner & rules leaflet. Object of the game (and to be the winner), is to hold all 6 x cards of one particular wind direction ~ i.e “sunny south” or “blustering north”. All 54 cards of excellent period style & design, but not necessarily politically correct by todays standards!! Box in generally very good order taking into account it’s considerable age, with no holes, torn corners or biro scribble; although has some “scuff” marks & surface scratching in places as shown. A rare vintage game survivor.
